November 15, 1933 - September 14, 2025
Eura Mae Loyd passed into eternal life on September 14, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on November 15, 1933, to Howard and Bessie Doyle Garrison of Naylor, Arkansas. She was married to the late James Wendell Loyd for 67 years.
Eura Mae was a woman of dedication, loyalty, strength, and compassion. After graduating from Mt. Vernon High School, she attended Capital City College in Little Rock. Afterwards, she worked at Production Credit Association, later Farm Credit Services, retiring after 26 years of devoted service. Her faith also guided her as an original and long-time member of the University Church of Christ in Conway.
With a green thumb and a generous spirit, Eura Mae could often be found tending to her pristine garden. She was known for sharing her homegrown tomato juice, creamed corn, pickles, and chow-chow. In the kitchen, she was just as talented, serving made-from-scratch meals that her family will never forgetâ€"from big Saturday breakfasts to fried chicken lunches and pot roast dinners.
Eura Mae is survived by her children, Bobby Loyd (Marian), Brenda Sanson (Steve), and Barry Loyd; her grandchildren, Lindsay Robinson (Michael), Laura Leigh Pugh (Cody), Landon Loyd, Jessica Baker (Sean), Beau Sanson, Jon Loyd (Christa), Kate Loyd, and Jacob Loyd; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Garrison (Martha).
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wendell Loyd; her daughter, Barbara Adams; her parents, Howard and Bessie Doyle Garrison; her brothers, Gary Garrison, Bill Garrison, and David Garrison (Becky); and her great-grandson, Wendell Loyd.
Eura Mae's family will forever cherish her devotion, her cooking, and the many ways she cared for others.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to her dear friend, Bea Eichmann, and to her extraordinary caregivers, Christa Lawson, Dana Sutton, Tammy Gwatney, and David Hice.
Pallbearers will be Michael Robinson, Cody Pugh, Jimmy Nolen, Justin Garrison, Gary Massey, and David Hice.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m., and funeral at 2 p.m., on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark.
