of Little Rock, AR
April 26, 1990 - September 10, 2025
Guy Lucian Gill IV (Gilly), 35, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was called home to his heavenly father on September 10, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on April 26, 1990, Gilly lived a life defined by his faith, his family, and his passions.
A dedicated professional, Gilly served as a pediatric nurse, touching countless lives with his compassionate care and kind spirit. He was known for his strength, both physical and spiritual, which he cultivated through his commitment to fitness and his deep love for God. Gilly carried the hope of the gospel with him. His life was a living testimony of God's redemptive power, especially as someone who overcame the grips of addiction and then turned to help others do the same.
Beyond his professional life and spiritual devotion, Gilly was an avid outdoorsman. He found immense peace and excitement in duck hunting, a hobby he shared with friends and family. It was in the quiet of nature that he often felt closest to God.
Nothing meant more to Gilly than being a good husband and father. He worked tirelessly to provide and care for his loving wife, Lauren, and their cherished daughter, Marley. His greatest pride and joy was his family, and he poured his heart into being the man they could always count on. He was their steady source of love, strength, protection, and guidance.
He is preceded in death by his father, Guy Gill III and step-mother, Edie Gill; brother, Josh Gill; and grandparents, William and Janie Bushman.
He is survived by his wife, Lauren; his daughter, Marley Jane; and his mother Laura Bushman. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Milton; brother, Michael McDonald; grandmother, Janis Ward; in-laws, Kristina, David, and Coleman Loving; goddaughter, Evelyn Owens; and many cousins who loved him dearly.
Though words can never capture the depth of our loss, we find comfort in knowing that Gilly is now in the loving arms of Jesus, where he has found eternal peace. Gilly's legacy of love, faith, and dedication to others will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at GRACEchurch East End. The visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by the service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an account established for the future care and education of his daughter, Marley Gill, at Regions Bank. Please make checks payable to ''Marley Gill.'' They may be mailed to: Regions Bank by Mail, P.O. Box 2527, Mobile, AL 36652, or dropped off at any Regions Bank location.
Gilly and I worked together at Fit Factory. He was always a highly respected and motivating figure in and out of the gym. I am fortunate that I recently got to catch up with him again and share some of the things we had been up too since leaving Fit Factory. I was happy to see that he had started nursing and was living a full life. He was a good man and did not deserve to leave us so early, but I find comfort knowing that he is now in the gracious arms of the Lord. You will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I'm praying the peace of God rules in your hearts. 🙏🏾😇
Gilly, you were deeply loved by everyone. Your loyal and authentic character was something we all admired. I’ll never forget the first time I met you, with that beautiful smile, and the journey we’ve shared over the years. You were motivated, resilient, and determined…achieving goals that many only dream of. Thank you for always being there to help when we needed you. I’ll be praying for your mom, your wife and precious child as they continue through life without you. Thank you for the way you showed God’s love to everyone around you.
Gone too soon. Such a good and thoughtful young man.
Definitely will be missed by many.
Take your rest, “Gilly”.
My thoughts and prayers to all family and friends.

Peace and prayers for you all. I know your hearts are broken🙏🙏🙏🙏
Gil was a great friend to me. All the years I came and fellowshipped with him at The Yacht Club. He was always welcoming. We never got around to those golf lessons. I’m sure you’ll get them in heaven buddy! Until we meet again!
Even though you're no longer here, I want you to know what a truly great person you were. You were an inspiration to everyone who knew you—your kindness, compassion, and genuine love for others touched so many lives. The way you always put people first, with an open heart and a smile, made the world a better place.
I’ve always been able to count on you for help, support, and guidance. Your presence in my life was a gift, and I will always cherish the memories of our time together. Your love and warmth will stay with me forever. I am so fortunate to have been able to call you my best friend/My Brother. I love you Gil, so so much.
Thank you for being the amazing person you are. Rest peacefully, Gilly—I’ll carry your spirit with me always.
To your dear family—Laura, Lauren, Marley, and Mike—I send my heartfelt condolences. I cannot imagine the pain of losing such a wonderful person, but I hope you find comfort in knowing how much Gilly meant to so many and how deeply he was loved. I love you all and I’m praying for God to give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
With love,
Hillary Livingston
Gilly was one of the most caring people I have ever met. I had the privilege of training with him for years, and I was so excited to see him begin his nursing career—he was truly the perfect person to bring healing and shine a loving light on everyone he touched. His kindness, compassion, and spirit made a lasting impact on so many lives.
Gilly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Fly high, my friend—you will never be forgotten
You will be truly missed, my love to Lauren and your sweet baby.
I remember meeting Gilly and admiring his passion for fitness and recovery. I got to work with his wife Lauren and watch their journey to becoming parents. They made such an amazing loving family, and the care Gilly gave my daughter in the emergency room at the hospital. He was an incredibly outstanding human and will be missed
Silly will truly be missed,I remember him teaching us how to get the most out of those rubber bands, and how proud he was to become a father. I remember him telling me it works if your persistent. Rest in Peace my friend.
Gilly, in the 9+ years I knew you, your spirit remained constant - I was always so impressed with your patience and kindness in every situation. When we first met, I laughed so hard that your first name was actually your last name, and that you technically went by two last names. When you told me you were going back to college, I was so excited to not be the only 30-something-year-old at our school. I was so proud of you and the strides you continued to make, building on one success after another, and I always appreciated your acknowledgement of mine too. I make no apologies for laughing at you carrying around that giant water jug. But now I promise to carry around your memory in my heart. Gilly, you are so incredibly loved. I will miss you. Alison
You left this world way too early, but left love and inspiration with all who knew you. Praying for your family. Rest in peace.
I will continue to pray for Lauren and your beautiful daughter Marley. May heavenly Father wrap his arms around them. Godspeed.
Gilly, you were such a light in the recovery community. Thank you for always pouring into the community. Thank you for always such a wonderful mentor and friend. Sending all my love to Lauren and sweet Marley.
Till then brother.
Im truly blessed to have known you and to be able to call you a best friend. You have inspired so many. You inspired me through my darkest times. You always answered or text back when I reached out. You were so proud of your beautiful family. Thank you for everything Gilly. Rest easy my friend. I love you brother.
Gilly our first days of sobriety at Spencers gave me the foundation to finally live. You were then and will always be an inspiration! I love you man!
I will continue praying for his whole family, but special for his wife and daughter. You and Aaron are together again with Jesus.
Words always fall short at a time like this, but I will hold space in my heart for you and your family. I am truly sorry for your loss. Sending love, peace, strength, comfort, and healing to your family, friends, & all of those who love you. 🙏🏻❤️🩹
I wish I had half of Gilly’s ambition. A life lost way too soon. I’m honored to be able to call him a friend and grateful I was able to witness much of the good he brought into life. My deepest condolences to his family.
I’m so proud to have known you brother and I’m grateful I got to witness you living life to the fullest. You will be missed dearly.
