I will miss our calls every week and all your stories. You loved telling people about Noah calling you crazy Nana in AR, it always put a smile on your face. Thank you for your endless love, strength, and kindness. We miss you more than words can say.
Joe, Lola and Gary have welcomed Lu home. She had a sweet soul. Wish I could be there to comfort the family.

Lu was such an amazing woman. I remember when Karen and I first married we would go over and have breakfast each morning. She would always tell me stories about growning up in Mountian View or about Karen growning up. Caring is something Karen is known for and it is obvious where she got it. Her mother cared for everyone and everything. From her daughters and family to her pets and even the deer and rabbits and squirrels. You loved and you were and always will be loved. You will be missed Lu rest in peace and until we meet again.

I remember always calling my grandma nana just that, ‘grandma nana’. My cousins had landed on ‘grandma’ and ‘nana’ and I decided I wanted something special of my own to call her. This was no doubt because she made me feel so special and I decided she deserved the same. I remember her telling me that story of how I chose what to call her and laughing with her at how silly I must have been. I would love to hear that story a million more times from her if I could.
All the stories she has told me over the years live with me and will forever be cherished.
You are so loved and will be remembered so dearly, grandma nana.

My mom was a gift to this world. She was a firecracker, a burst of energy. She had incredible strength and her hands were always busy. Be it working around the house, growing beautiful plants, or creating amazing things in crochet but they were never too busy to stop and help her girls and grandkids. She told the best stories from her past. Her words painted pictures more vivid than any photograph, her tales a legacy that will echo through generations. Her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will continue to inspire us.
Thank you for being the heart of our family.
We love you, always and forever.
