Zora Mae Frazier

of Little Rock, AR

December 4, 1937 - September 7, 2025

Zora Mae Frazier, 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on September 7, 2025. Born on December 4, 1937 in Hope, Arkansas, she was the beloved daughter of the late Custer and Artie Payne.

Zora was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Doyle Frazier; her parents and her cherished sisters, Audie Paddie and Juanita Payne. A woman of quiet strength, unwavering faith and deep compassion, Zora dedicated her life to teaching, nurturing and serving others.

Zora spent many years as a dedicated teacher and touched countless young lives in and out of the classroom. She faithfully served her church community for decades, playing piano and organ, teaching Sunday School and leading Children's Church with warmth and joy. After retirement, Zora's life centered around what she loved most, her family. She traveled frequently to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always investing her time, heart and energy into the lives of those she loved.

She also found great joy in gardening, sharing the beauty she cultivated with everyone who came to visit. Whether it was through music, flowers or her gentle wisdom, Zora brought light and love into every space she entered.

Zora is survived by her three children: Steve Frazier (Lori), Randy Frazier (Sandra) and Susan Cottle (Brian); seven grandchildren: Nathan Frazier (Laura), Brendan Frazier (Shannon), Sarah Phillips (Nick), Blake Frazier, Andrea Diaz (Robert), Adrienne Smith (Dakota) and Kathryn Burrow (Ben) and 13 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years.

Her legacy of faith, grace and love will continue to live on through the generations of family she so dearly cherished.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. A celebration of Zora's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, also at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

The first time I met Zora she was very quiet. And, each time afterwards, still quiet.... until one word changed everything! Disney! We bonded quickly over our love for Disney!
One time, she took me in to her computer room and showed me many pictures from family Disney trips! She was particularly proud of a photo Doyle had captured of the monorail passing over many gorgeous flowers during Epcot's Flower and Gardening Festival. He'd captured it at just the right moment! She just beamed as she told me about that!
I like to imagine that she's met Walt Disney and told him just how much his parks have meant to us!
Rest in love, Zora! Please hug my daddy for me! Tammy

Frazier family,
Your family have been entwined with our family for many years...we loved you all when you arrived in L. R. Your mom was the gentle giant that ran the family behind the scenes. Her love and constant, faithful and Godly influence was such an example of Psalms 31. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you walk this valley.

We loved your parents. They were always so kind to us. She sent me a Willow Tree angel after a visit to our house. I think they came for a Cardinal game. Anyway, it still sets in my kitchen window and I think of her often. Prayers for all of the family as you celebrate her life and say “See you later!”

I will always cherish the friendship Zora and I shared. We prayed together, laughed together, were church musicians together and served Jesus together. I admired her kindness and sweet disposition. I will miss her here on earth, but will join her in Heaven one day.

Thank you, Zora, for being one of my earliest Sunday School memories. I remember the flannel board stories and the seed that you helped plant in my life to love and serve Jesus. You have remained a wonderful friend to me and my family and we will miss you so much, but Praise God this is more of a see you in a little while situation.
Thank you for serving the Lord so well. Great is your reward!!
