Wendy Ellen Denton born June 30, 1956, entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2025 at the age of 69. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose presence brought joy, laughter and comfort to all who knew her.

Wendy is survived by her devoted husband of 11 years, Steve Denton, who cherished every moment they shared together. She is also survived by her two sons, Chris Ahne and Drew Grant and her two loving daughters-in-law, Jennifer Ahne and Leanne Grant. She was a proud and loving ''Nonnie''. Through Chris and Jennifer, Wendy is survived by Kate and Sam Ahne. Through Drew and Leanne, she is survived by Konner, Emily, Rayden, Alicia and Jaxson Grant.

Wendy was also blessed to share her life with Steve's children, Xac Denton and Ashley Cohn, along with Ashley's husband, Mike Cohn. Her heart grew even fuller with the addition of Ashley and Mike's children, Quinton and Margo, whom she dearly loved. She is further survived by her siblings: Lee Peterson (Fort Wayne, IN), Pat Rising (Elk Grove Village, IL), Loni Milz (Belle Plaine, MN) and Paul Rifenberg (Niles, MI) who will cherish her memory and the bond they shared.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, James Rushing and Doris (Mondroski) Rushing and brothers, Richard (Bud) Rushing and Jim Rushing, who welcomed her into eternal rest.

Her family was her greatest joy and she poured her love, wisdom and gentle spirit into each child and grandchild, creating treasured memories that will carry on for generations. Wendy's life was a testament to kindness, love and devotion to her family that was grounded in her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be remembered for her warm smile, her generous heart and the way she made everyone feel valued and cared for. Her legacy lives on in her husband, children, stepchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers and sister, who will honor her memory by living with the same love and grace she shared with them.

A visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR. A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in the Chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church of Little Rock.

A second visitation will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Roller Funeral Home, 1700 E Walnut Street, Paris, AR 72855. A Graveside service will follow at 3:00pm at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, Arkansas.

Flowers are to be delivered to Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300.

She will be deeply missed, but her love will remain ever present in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
