She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Raymond, Cleo (''Jess'') and Jeff Ballard; her daughter, Jo Carol Lasley and her granddaughter, Cassie Flowers.
Arcie is survived by her sister, Ruth Brady; two daughters, Claudette Flowers and Leslie Dawes (Larry Dawes); four grandchildren, Lee Freyaldenhoven, Alex Flowers, Lauren Ott (Andrew Ott) and Jeffrey Dawes; two great-grandchildren, Liam Gardner and Annabelle Ott and her nephew, Scott Brady.
The family would like to thank the staff at Comfort Care Center in Little Rock for their compassion and care during Arcie's final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Comfort Care Center, Little Rock, at www.hospicehomecare.com.
I am so saddened to hear about Ms. Arcie's passing. She was a schoolmate of my mom, Ferne Stone Pettingill and I cared for her as a nurse..she was such a precious lady! Prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.
While sadly we didn't get to visit with all of you as often as we would have liked, each time I saw your Mom she made a positive impression on me. She was always so full of life, fun to be around, and made you feel welcome. I believe anyone that spent time around her would leave with a smile and the feeling that they were loved. Mom has shared many stories about Aunt Arcie with me since her passing that have only reinforced my feelings stated above. The world lost a great lady. We will be praying for all of you.
Claudette, Leslie and family we are so sorry to hear about your mother. We have lots of memories from years gone by. She was a special lady. May the Lord bless and comfort all of you.
