Wayne Acord, 79, a resident of Clarksville passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 16, 1945 to Conley and Hallie (Morris) Acord in Mulberry, Arkansas.

Wayne was a member of Fernwood Assembly of God. He retired from Ceco Corporation in Knoxville, Arkansas and then enjoyed his time working with his daughter as Event Host of Executive Conference Center in Springfield, Missouri. In his free time, Wayne loved yard work and gardening, listening to country music and watching western TV shows.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Deloris Acord and his parents, Conley and Hallie Acord.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Renae Acord Bainter and her spouse, Jessica Bainter of Scottsdale, Arizona; his brother, Tommy Acord and his spouse, Linda Acord and their family of Scranton, Arkansas and his sister, Lynda Shook and her family of Clarksville, Arkansas.

Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
