Darrel Wayne Wright, 61, returned home on August 7, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas to Lewis Henry and Avanell Wright on October 11, 1963. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lewis Wright Jr.

Darrel worked diligently as a pipe line operator at B&G Pipe Line. He was a servant of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He served as a deacon at his church in Hickory Flat, Harris Chapel. Darrel was a proud farmer, taking care of the land with his beloved red international harvester.

Darrel is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon Wright; his son, Joshua Dean Vaughan (Ashley) and two grandchildren, Jonathan Vaughan and Athena Vaughan; his brother, Johnny Wright Sr. (Melanie) and two sisters, Valeria Taylor (Randy) and Margaret Norris (Terry).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 3-5 PM at Roller Daniel Funeral Home. The service will be on the following day, Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Roller Daniel Funeral Home. Interment will be at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas.

Darrell was my youngest cousin growing up I was privileged to spend a lot of time at his home. He was the baby brother I ever had. I loved his entire family like they were my own Darrel was so easygoing, loving, and I’m extremely proud to have been in his family! He will be missed.

Darrel was an amazing man! He was a wonderful friend to my husband and my in-laws. Jackie and Kelly are having a wonderful reunion in heaven with Darrel and one day we will see them all again. Until then Darrel will be very missed. Prayers to Sharon, his family, and friends.

Darrel was a great man. He run about any kind of equipment and was good at it. Always enjoyed talking to him. He had some good stories. He will be missed. His bless his family and friends and comfort them in the days to come.
