Glenda June Fry Chapman went home on July 29, 2025.
Glenda was born October 11, 1936 to Avenell Vivian Spruell and Collie Willard Fry in Judsonia, AR.
Glenda was married to Van Chapman on October 1, 1973. They both were avid Razorback fans and were world travelers. Glenda's hobbies included her flower gardens, crocheting and reading. Glenda retired from Employment Security Division in Searcy, AR as the office manager. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Judsonia, AR.
Glenda is survived by Deborah Ahillen, Diane Choate, and Dennis Choate (Phyllis), four grandchildren, Sarah Ahillen, Rebekah Ahillen-Davis (Stephen), Jared Ahillen, Nicolette Gardner (Dakota) ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Glenda was preceded in death by both her parents, sister, Gail Presley (Tommy) of North Little Rock, AR and brother, Dwight Fry of Anchorage, AK. Her daughter Denise Choate; grandchildren, James David Ahillen and Danielle Choate Stafford.
The family wants to extend our gratitude to Mrs. Sarah Decker for her selfless care and attention she has given to Glenda and the direction and friendship she has given to all of us these past three years.
