Glenda June Fry Chapman went home on July 29, 2025.

Glenda was born October 11, 1936 to Avenell Vivian Spruell and Collie Willard Fry in Judsonia, AR.

Glenda was married to Van Chapman on October 1, 1973. They both were avid Razorback fans and were world travelers. Glenda's hobbies included her flower gardens, crocheting, reading, and traveling. Glenda retired from Employment Security Division in Searcy, AR as the office manager. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Judsonia, AR.

Glenda is survived by three children, Deborah Ahillen, Diane Choate, and Dennis Choate (Phyllis); four grandchildren, Sarah Ahillen (Ples Guthrie), Rebekah Ahillen-Davis (Stephen), Jared Ahillen, Nicolette Gardner (Dakota); ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Tommy Presley; and a host of other family and friends.

Glenda was preceded in death by both her parents; sister, Gail Presley of North Little Rock, AR; brother, Dwight Fry of Anchorage, AK; and son-in-law Jim Ahillen; daughter Denise Choate; grandchildren, James David Ahillen and Danielle Choate Stafford.

The family wants to extend our gratitude to Mrs. Sarah Decker for her selfless care and attention she has given to Glenda and the direction and friendship she has given to all of us these past three years.

Memorial services will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, AR. Officiating will be Ava Laidler.
