Denise Kaye Hickey, 65, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born August 10, 1959, in Harlingen, Texas, to Clyde Lee and Connie Lee (McWhorter) Jones.
Denise was known by many for her caring and thoughtful demeanor and her overall enjoyment of life, which she shared with her husband, Glenn. She was a secretary for Second Baptist Church for twenty years, and an active member for four decades. Denise was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Arkansas and Grand Worthy Matron of the 2022 Grand Family. She enjoyed music and cooking. Denise loved flower gardening and cats. Most of all, Denise loved her family and she was an excellent and loving wife.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Connie Jones; two of her brothers; and one sister, Kathryn Ann Jones.
Denise is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Garland ''Glenn'' Hickey of Clarksville; one sister, Karla Meredith of Clarksville; two brothers, Scott Clyde Jones of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Clyde Lee Jones Jr. of Long Branch, New Jersey.
A visitation will be held at Second Baptist Church on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral service at Second Baptist Church in Clarksville on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hickey Cemetery in Piney Bay, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Herbert Rideout, Jerry Morris, Ronnie Ashley, Jeff Hunter, Robert Qualls, and Walter Harrison. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeff Stroup, and Jimmy Gould.

She was very sweet lady love talking to her and we shared our puppy dog seeing they was susters
I was so saddened to learn of Denise's tragic death. She was a very special lady. She will be missed. She is home now with her Lord and Savior.

Denise was such a joyful, caring person. She was an active member of Johnson county extension homemakers and I enjoyed working with her. She was always willing to help with anything even without being asked and the first to volunteer. I loved her smile and laugh-a cheerful lady. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Denise was my friend, she was friends to a lot of people and will be missed tremendously! It will take some getting used to not having Denise in church with us each service, we love you Glen and Carla, will be praying for you daily!
