I was privileged to know Sue and Charles through our church in Manchester, NH for many years, and additionally helped with a renovation through our company (Delicious Kitchens & Interiors) at their home. Sue was always positive, gentle, kind, helpful and supportive of the church activities pitching it at every opportunity, a gift to the congregation and the community. Her adoration for her grandchildren was evident to all, she was loved by many and will be missed.
I first met Sue in the early 80's when I went to her home in Manchester, NH to buy Sunday School materials. She and Charles ran a small bookstore out of their basement so churches in the area had better access to class materials. Over the years I got to know them both better and I saw them as exceptional examples in Christian living. Sue impressed me as one who would always jump in and help, regardless of the situation. She will be missed by all who knows her.
Sue and I worked together at Southside Middle School in Manchester, NH for 23 years. She was my right hand and always anticipated what I needed before even I knew! Beyond colleagues, we became close friends. My condolences go to her family whom she cherished dearly. I’m sure she is with the angels and looking for ways to help! Rest in peace, dear friend.
Our love, sympathies and prayers for the family of Sue Burdette. A genuine Christian servant in New England, showing concern for others. Bless you all as you grieve, know God’s love care and promises for His own.
Charles, Matt and Dan, I am so very sorry for your great loss! Sue was a wonderful lady and sister in Christ. I admired how well she served and did so quietly, never looking for praises. You are all in my prayers! 🩷
I haven’t known Ms Sue very long but she was always so kind to everyone. We are going to miss you.
