I ran into a mutual friend who shared this information this evening. I was speechless. SO sorry to hear that he’s no longer with us. Daddy & I will miss his friendly and genuine smile. As you know he was our ‘greeter’ at Mira. God’s Speed Sir, until we meet again. ☀️ Bill & Laura

I have great memories of Melvin and Linda when we were teenagers.
Linda I’m so sorry for your loss.
To the Matheny Family,
It was a joy to see Mel every Sunday and at every event at FBCM. For many years he never failed to make us feel welcomed and loved. Life has been more beautiful with Mel but heaven will be grand when we can see him again standing strong and always with God.
Blessings and Love,
Jerry & Mary Davis

My deepest sympathy to Linda, Susan and the Matheny family. God bless this wonderful man of our Lord Almighty.
Mel was married to my sister for 65 years. He was truly a man of God. Such an honorable husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We have many good memories and Dan and I will miss him deeply.
