Art was a faithful follower of Christ, a devoted husband of 47 years to his beloved wife Sheila and a loving father to his three children, Shannon, Blake and Holly. He was a charter member of Trinity Methodist Church in Lancaster, South Carolina, The Gideons International and a member of Central Baptist Church of Conway, Arkansas. So sorry for your loss. I knew Art in his younger days. (Lancaster)
So sorry y'all had so much sorrow on you in a short time and we couldn't be with you to share the hurting. Holly I will still look forward to those Christmas cards. Art and Dianne were the cousins that were so close and enjoyed life together. May God strengthen all of you as you remember all the good times you had together. Lovingly, Betty Jo and Family
So sorry for your loss but you have some wonderful memories of your dad that will be with you forever and I am sure he Influenced your lives in a very positive way.
Our deepest sympathies to the Collins family in the passing of Art and your mother, Shelia. Art and I (Janet) were in the same class of '65 and knew each other through his home church of Trinity Methodist. He was always so kind to everyone. He also played sports with my husband (Darrell) in Art's freshman year. Art will be missed by many.
I tracked Art down a little while ago and had a lengthy remembrance of our high school days and afterwards. We discussed our faith, families, working at the ice plant one summer for 5 cents a bag. We got rich!! Lol. Great friend and teammate all through school. Enjoyed visiting Sonny Bowers Dodge when he was service manager there.
So very sorry for the loss of your Dad and your mother Sheila. Please know South Carolina loves you all and are praying for you all.
Art was a great guy and a great friend all through school and for years after. Eric played football with him in high school and had some wonderful times. This is a beautiful tribute to your dad and to his deep faith. We are deeply sorry for his loss and for the loss of your mother. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant you all His Comfort and Peace now and in the days ahead.
Geneva and I wanted to offer to Art's family our deepest condolences in the passing of Art. I was a classmate of Art's at Lancaster Senior High School, class of '65. May God's special grace be real to all of you today and the days to come.

Your Dad and mom were very faithful members of my Lifegroup at First Baptist.
I celebrate with you that they are whole, healed, free from this world’s grasp and with their savior.
They were faithful servants of Jesus.
Thankful for my memories with them.
Prayers for you and your family.
Holly, I am glad to have known your mom and dad from the first time I attended lifegroup class at Central Baptist. Very fine, faithful couple. May God give you strength as you deal with two losses at once and all the decisions that have to be made. God will be there for and with you.
Prayers for peace and comfort! Your loving parents are together in Heaven watching over you now! Hugs dear friend!

The tribute to Art is perfect ! He was so nice to everyone. A gentle spirit that both your parents passed on to you, and now your sweet boys. Loved hearing his Southern accent :))
After watching them endure pain and suffering the past few years , it is comforting to KNOW they are whole again. Prayers for your family and Blake in the days ahead.
Holly, I cannot imagine the pain you’ve had these past months. I’m so grateful your parents were devoted christians and are in heaven with Jesus. What a celebration! ♥️
