Robert Paul Sperry, 82, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, July 13, 2025. He was born May 16, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas and was the son of Benjamin and Katherine Sperry.

Paul was preceded in death by both his parents; his brother, Glen Sperry; special sons, David Roberts and Jeff Roberts and special daughter, Carla Roberts West.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Cecille Sperry; brother, Gary Sperry; two special daughters, Paula Roberts Grandjean and Cheryl Roberts Ragland; seven special grandchildren and twelve special great grandchildren and many good friends.

Paul was retired from the railroad after 35 years of service. He was an antique car enthusiast and loved the outdoors. He loved horse riding and grooming them to perfection. In his spare time, he loved taking long road trips with Cecille.

Paul was loved dearly by all who had the privilege to know him and will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Roller McNutt funeral home in Conway, Arkansas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Paul was a great friend, will sure miss talking to him on the phone. Always had such a great visit when he would come to Purdy and we would ride around the countryside.

When I think of Paul, I picture him in his ball cap with an unlit cigar.
He’d be visiting Cecille as she traveled for work. He took those trips as opportunities to see old friends and make new ones by playing cards, looking at antique cars and boy did he ever love driving!
I’ll miss Paul because he always had a story or a joke.
