Greta Ann Hazel Mitchell, 90, of Conway, Arkansas passed away July 12, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 2, 1934 to the late Claud and Bessie Hazel.

Greta was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Hardy B Mitchell; brothers, Thomas Hazel and C.H. ''Sodie'' Hazel and sisters, Jetta Lou Keathley, Wiladean Palmer and Betty Hightower.

Greta was a lifelong faithful member of Liberty Church of Christ in Conway where she enjoyed volunteering in the food pantry and clothing room. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her husband and children. One of her hobbies was sewing, especially for her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed helping her husband garden and working in the yard.

Left to cherish her memories are her brother-in-law, Charlie Hightower; her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Beth Mitchell and her children, Michael Mitchell (Donna), Malinda Reedy (David), Debbie Havens, Todd Mitchell (Bryna). Her greatest blessing was being Maw Maw and MeMaw to 11 grandchildren, Eric Havens (Danielle), Ashley Cox (Cory), Kalei Marie Havens, Taylor Havens, Randi (Roo) Hurley, Mitch Hurley (Bethany), Marissa Nichols (Cory), Sean Mitchell, Tabitha Brown (Trey), Andrew Mitchell (Peyton), Brock Mitchell (Mia) and blessed with 27 great grandchildren and 2 on the way and a host of nieces and nephews and a dear church family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR from 5:00-7:00pm. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 10:00am at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway with Bro. Johnathan House and Bro. Ted Knight officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Alexa, Cheryl and Michelle for their wonderful loving care.

The Pallbearers are Eric Havens, Taylor Havens, Andrew Mitchell, Brock Mitchell, Mitch Hurley and David Reedy.
