John and I were the best of friends and neighbors, there wasn’t anything that we wouldn’t do for each other. We spent many times with our lawnmower pulled up to each other’s and just talked, neither one of us could hear very well but we always new what each other was saying, I really enjoyed those conversations with him. John was a very hard worker on everything that he did and a real craftsman and friend! I am really going to miss him and our relationship. I got to visit with him before he left for the Hospital and we talked at least an hour and we got to tell each other how much that we appreciated each other’s company and kindness and he will definitely be missed by me!
Bobble and I plan on helping Miss Cookie in anyway that we can.
May my best friend rest in peace.

Cookie, I am glad we got to see John recently. He meant so much to my family. You and John are family. I am sorry he is gone, but I am glad he is with Jesus and not suffering. He probably is fixing the mantle on the fireplace in Heaven. John was one of the good ones. He certainly left a mark on this world. We love you Cookie.
My sincere condolences to the entire family. May you find comfort in God’s presence and arms.
There are not enough words of praise that Lee and I feel for John. He made our dreams and wishes a reality, in the 3 homes he built for us. We wouldn’t take anything for the time we spent with him on our projects. Always a smile on his face and assurance that anything was possible! A true master craftsman and a wonderful big brother. Our prayers are with Cookie and the kids. I know that their hearts are broken with this loss, ours are too. Our comfort, comes with knowing that he is no longer in pain and he is on the other side waiting and watching over us. Rest in Peace Dear John.
Ann, Johnny and Family, we are praying for you all. God bless you in this time of sorrow.

Our sincerest sympathies to all of John’s family. We’ve been distant friends through the years and so sorry for your loss.
