Jamie Lynn Woodyard, 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at her home in West Helena, Arkansas. She was born in Helena, Arkansas on Saturday, March 1, 1958 to Robert Wood Hicks and Shirley Francis Ellis.
Jamie was a member of the Second Baptist Church in West Helena. She enjoyed reading, watching television and had a love for animals. During her life, she was an apartment manager, restaurant owner and worked for the Humane Society.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Anthony Woodyard; sister, Cynthia Jo Goode; nephews, Beau Hicks, Micah Goode, Stephen Woodyard, Warren Woodyard, Leonard Rohrscheib, Michale Wetzel, Todd Wetzel, Chrisopher Alan Woodyard and Jake Byrd; nieces, Heather Whaley, Melanie Wood, Hillary Miller, Melissa Siler, Aimee Spradlin, Danielle Woodyard, Catherine Rohrscheib Nash and Jordyn Woodyard Brown; great nephews, Garrett Green, Greer Green, Cruz Miller, Zander Siler, Whit Miller, Jaeger Whaley and Koda Siler; great nieces, Blair Miller, Ellis Ann Whaley, Lucy Green, Amelia Cates Spradlin, Arabella Spradlin and Hazel Mae Goode and a host of great-great nieces, nephews and friends.
Jamie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wood Hicks and Shirley Francis Ellis Hicks and one brother, Robert Wood Hicks Jr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Micah Goode, Stewart Whaley, Jerry Don Miller, Chris Siler, Garrett Green, Chris Woodyard, Allan Woodyard and Cruz Miller.
Honorary pallbearer will be Greer Green.
A funeral service honoring the life of Jamie Woodyard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Fred Garrison and Brother Chad Davis will officiate.

I will never forget the kindness that you and Jamie showed me back
In January. I was so sick and you both brought all of the right things to my house to make me feel better.
Jamie texted and messaged me nearly everyday. The cute pictures she sent me were of things she knew I loved and enjoyed.
Jamie was always thinking of others. She was caring and kind & I know she loved you and her family and her pets.
I'm so sorry Joe and I know you are heartbroken. We all loved Jamie and consider her a part of our families.
She supported my grandson (3), who has cancer(Wilms Tumor) by purchasing t-shirts for you both!
I sincerely pray that God gives you the strength and peace to carry on in memory of Jamie.
