Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, called Lillie Mae home to be with Him in Heaven on Thursday, July 3rd.

Lillie was born April 8, 1930, in Bethesda, Arkansas, to Minnie Jewel Maxwell Smart and Acie Leander Smart.

She is survived by her three daughters, Janet Sue Carter of Sulphur Rock, Brenda Thomas (Tommy) of Salado, and Melissa Russell (Randy) of Sulphur Rock; six grandchildren, Scott Carter, Dr. Shane Ford (Monique), Brandi Fagan (Chris), Karman Nesbitt (Jeff), Morgan Conner (Jason), and Quinton Russell (Destiny); fourteen great grandchildren, Kailea Fagan, Olivia Ford, Colton Carter, Ella Ford, Delaney Nesbitt (Dylan), Peyten Griffin, Abby Conner, Lyla Conner, Eli Nesbitt, Macy Conner, Alex Liesmann, Julie Conner, Zoe Liesmann, and Sadie Conner; one future great, great grandson, Baby Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 56 years, Doris Junior Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Eddie Clay Smart, her brother, Raymond Smart, and her sister, Imogene Smart Sandefur; her son-in-law, Bill Carter, nephews, Ron Smart, Darrell Smart, and Terry Smart; her niece, Lisa Washburn, and her great niece, Sherry Owens.

She was a member of the Sulphur Rock Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She served on the Sulphur Rock Town Council for ten years. She was a member of the Extension Home Makers Club and the Heritage Scrapbook Club. She served on the Spring Creek Manor board of directors in Sulphur Rock.

She worked for 24 years at the International Shoe Company and then retired from the Sulphur Rock School District after 19 years of service as a teacher's aide.

Her hobbies included doll collecting, scrapbooking, writing poems, sewing, crafting, collecting family photos, keeping a daily journal, and writing devotions.

The visitation and funeral will be held at Sulphur Rock Baptist Church on Saturday, July 5th, at 2:00 pm with Brother Chuck Miller officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.

Burial will be in Sulphur Rock Cemetery under the direction of Roller Crouch Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Scott Carter, Shane Ford, Quinton Russell, Chris Fagan, Jeff Nesbitt, and Jason Conner. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons, Colton Carter, Eli Nesbitt, and Alex Liesmann; Randell Crabtree and the Sulphur Rock Baptist Church Deacons.

A special thanks goes to the WRMC 4th Floor Central Nurses (especially Aly, Bry, Caitlyn, and Natalie), Dr. Amanda Johnson, Dr. Morgan Norton, and Dr. Wyatt Lydolph, for their care and compassion.

We will miss visiting this dear sweet Cousin. Prayers to all the Family. We are sorry we will not be able to attend her service. Lonnie can't walk now and is in wheelchair. She is now rejoicing with Linda, they were close cousins. God bless you all.
