Wilma Dobson, 85, of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.
She was born February 20, 1940 at Cave Creek to Aubrey and Francis (West) Hunt.
Wilma was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church who loved people and was always warm and friendly. She was a beautician for over fourty years, volunteered at the Manna House, and helped with the 4-H Club. She was a devoted wife who loved her family very much and helped work on the family farm. She enjoyed her exercise programs and her flowers, especially making bouquets.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married in 1959 and shared 65 years of marriage with, Mitchell Dobson of the home; one son, Coy Dobson of Jonesboro; one daughter, Makayla Sampson (Charles) of Westerville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Edwards Hartoin (Chad), Jacob Sampson (Hannah), William Sampson, and Chloe Sampson, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Joe Hunt, and Glen Hunt.
Pallbearers are JR Kipfer, Charles Sampson, Will Sampson, Doug Smith, Harold Brock, and Michael Starnes.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville with Patrick Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Manna House, 147 Lunen St, Melbourne, AR, 72556.
I knew Wilma back when she had her exercise class and tanning place in Mt. Pleasant. I truly believe she was a very sweet person.
May those she left behind be filled with the memories of her.

So sorry for your loss! Wilma was a great person and a good friend. We met in 1985 and I can’t say enough about that lady to ease your pain! Praying for peace and confort!
Wilma was a true Southern lady. There aren't many left.
