Bobby Dale Brown Sr., 84, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born on Monday, March 10, 1941 in Monroe, Arkansas to the late Dorris and Estine Brown.
Bobby worked at Mohawk for twenty-one years until their closing. He then pursued a job at Wycamp Motors as a salesman. Bobby was also the owner of the Varsity Club for a time. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering and going to the farm.
Bobby is survived by his son, Bobby Dale Brown Jr. (Pam) of West Helena; brother, Tony Brown of Moon Lake, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Tray Brown (Bailee), Carrie Webster (Brandon) and Steven Spurlock (Kimberly); four great grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Bayley Webster (Drew), Bryce Spurlock (Allie) and Farrah Webster; nephews; Tony Lynn Brown Jr. (Jennifer) and Tim Brown (LaSonya); great nephews, Darren Brown (Jordyn) and Payton Holmes; great nieces, Amanda Willis (Jay), Kelly Brown, Sarah Brown and Taylor Brown; special friend, Pat Treadwell; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maggie Wheeler Brown; parents, Dorris Henry Brown and Estine Williams Brown and great nephew, Cody Holmes.
The pallbearers will be Jimmy Newsom, Jackie Swindle, Brandon Webster, Leslie Kelley, Gene Hudson and Jeremy Helton.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tootie Stevens, Frank Miller and Howard Waddell.
A funeral service honoring Mr. Bobby Brown will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Joe Garner will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

Dale and Pam, We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Bobby. He was a true southern gentleman and someone I was so blessed to be a part of my life. I always enjoyed our conversations together and he was very proud of his family. While we will definitely miss him, be thankful of his time (and influence) in our lives!
