of Bigelow, AR
August 15, 1934 - June 25, 2025
Irene Mary Thoman was born August 15, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Herman and Elizabeth Cardona. The second of six children, Irene learned the truth from her best friend, Julianne Veronica in high school. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 4, 1953, thus began a lifetime of service to Jehovah. Irene married Robert Eugene Thoman on August 15, 1953. Irene served as a regular pioneer several times along with Robert. She also supported Robert in his service as presiding overseer and coordinator of the body of elders in Palatine, Illinois for over 20 years. Robert often reflected on how much Irene's support enabled him to serve the congregation. Her love of the Bible and for Jehovah played an important role in the upbringing of her children. During their 65 years of marriage, they were blessed with four sons and two daughters, along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irene was instrumental in planting the seeds of truth with her mother, father and siblings.
Irene and her beloved husband, Robert are a true spiritual heritage to their entire family.

VERY CLASSY & LOVEING
Sending our love and prayers to you Robin and your family.
We treasure many good memories we shared with your mom and dad.
May you find peace in knowing that she is in Jehovahs memory. ♥️
I to look forward to see her in paradise. I was blessed in knowing her and the whole family as a young man. I looked at her as a mother too.
It is written we will see Irene again.
“For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.”
If a person exercises faith in his Son, Jehovah feels he should get everlasting life.
I’ve only known Grandma Irene as an old person. I look forward to seeing her young like in this picture.
My love and prayers to all the family
Sorry to hear about your loss.
Looking forward to the Paradise when we will be united with family and friends again.

Billy and I are so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was truly an example of faith to others. She and Brother Thoman are now resting in Jehovah's memory awaiting the resurrection.
Please remember there are so many praying for your family to find comfort in knowing you will see her again very soon.
Love,
Billy and Pam
