of Bigelow, AR
July 6, 1957 - June 21, 2025
Wayne King, age 67, of Bigelow, Arkansas, passed away on June 21, 2025. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 6, 1957. Wayne loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing (showing his catch of the day) and hunting with his family and friends. Wayne was a man of many talents. He was a mechanic for most of his working career and loved to work on cars. His family and friends were always asking for advice about their own vehicles. In his spare time, he loved to repair things, build and plumb anything he could get his hands on to stay busy. Wayne was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte of 45 years; one son, Robert Johnson and one daughter, Donna Johnson; grandchildren, Rob Johnson, Caitlynn Finley, Stephanie Branch, Chris Richard and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held next month at his home.
Wayne was one of a kind, always willing help. He was a jokester and loved to talk. He will be missed. My prayers for Charlotte and the family.
So sorry Charlotte! I met wayne once at Robert and Liz wedding. I know he will be missed.
My prayers are with Charlotte and the King family. Wayne was a great brother in law that touched many hearts. We hunted and fished together and always had a great time. He will greatly be missed. God be with all of you.
Before I ever met you two I'd heard lots of stories about Wayne King and the many adventures he and Denny had through the years. Denny always said that Wayne is his brother and how they grew up together. i was even told every Friday when Charlotte passed by on hwy 300 that she's going to get Wayne's pay check and how she's always done that for years. Not many women can do that these days. Lol 😂 but Charlotte did. Following Charlotte on FB we all got to see what Wayne was up to from fishing in his front yard to the many many flowers he brought home to Charlotte. Not many men would give a woman his paycheck each week and pick her flowers on his way home but Wayne did for Charlotte then he would take her picture so she could show off her flowers on FB or maybe it was to show off what a good husband she has. Denny always said... I'll call Wayne see if he's got one of something he needed, and sure enough Wayne either had one or would bring one home from work and Denny would do the same for Wayne. But I also heard how Wayne would help anybody that needed his help. Wayne was always giving me hell with saying something smart to me but I finally started to give him a taste of his own bullshit, and Charlotte mad it easy with her post of Wayne on FB. Who else fishes in the front yard just because its flooded Who Wayne King !!! Lol 😂😂😂
Our hearts go out to Charlotte she has lost the love of her life and bestfriend. But Wayne knows he can count of his friends and family to help his Charlotte in anyway possible she won't go through this alone..
Rest in peace Wayne until we all meet again. 🙏❤️🙏
You are all
In my thoughts and prayers during this time of heartbreak. I send my love and hugs .
