of West Memphis, AR
November 6, 1967 - June 24, 2025
Sandy Renee Hamrick, 57, of West Memphis, AR passed away at home on June 24, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 6, 1967 in West Memphis, AR.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Bill Walton; her brother, Shane Bailey and her paternal grandparents, Allen and Margaret Walton; along with her maternal grandparents, Bill and Opal Oost.
She is survived by her husband, Brice Hamrick of West Memphis, AR; her mother and stepfather, Pat and James Wilson of Marion, AR; her children, Brittney Dean (Alex) of Marion, AR; Tiffany Hunt of Ocala, FL; Paul Hunt of Marion, AR and Richard Hamrick (Emily) of Collierville, TN and eight grandchildren, Rylie Smith, Ava Claire Dean, Layton Dean, McKynleigh Hunt, Brayden Hunt, Ainsley Hunt, Ellie Hamrick and Elena Hamrick . She also leaves behind five sisters, Tracy Lee (Chris) of Marion, AR; Heather Chesney (Mike) of Marion, AR; Kelly Walton (Jeremy) of Marion, AR; Misty Todd (Roland) of Crawfordsville, AR and Kristy Chaney (DJ) of Crawfordsville, AR; along with many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, nana and friend. She was a hard worker and someone who touched many lives through her kindness and dedication. She was definitely one of a kind.
She spent many years at Crittenden EMS where she was respected not just for the work she did, but for how she treated others with fairness and a steady heart. Outside of work, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandbabies. To say she loved the beach would be an understatement. But don't ask her to get on an airplane or an elevator! She found happiness in simple things and shared that joy with everyone around her.
Sandy is remembered most for her unwavering love for family and the warmth that filled every room she entered. She taught us the importance of hard work, love, loyalty and leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength and steady grace.
Though Sandy is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched, the stories shared and the love that remains. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Cypress Avenue Baptist Church.

I used to babysit the Walton girls when I was a teenager. They lived in the cove off of Henry St. in Marion back then. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My heart. thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God watch over the family during this sorrowful time.

Our thoughts and prayers for the family. So sorry for your loss.
Thoughts and prayers for all the family and friends. She’s in the arms of Jesus, pain free and living her best life. She will be truly missed on this earth, but she’s in a much better place than us. It’s difficult leaving your loved ones behind, and more difficult for the ones she left behind. Time doesn’t heal the pain of the loss, you just learn how to deal with the loss, bc you have a piece of her with you, and all the memories you’ve all made. She will still be in your thoughts everyday, brought on by possible tears…but, a time will come where you will think of her and smile and times you will burst out laughing, thinking of something she said or done. Hold onto to those moments, they are precious ♥️
My sincere prayers for your family. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all.
Sending my deepest condolences to the family. May your memories bring you comfort and peace during this time.
We are so sorry for your loss, you and your family are in our prayers. We love you

We are so very sorry for your loss. Sending hugs and prayers!
Deepest condolences to you and family brother. I know that you have a big family but if there is anything that my family and I can do for you during this please do not hesitate to let us know.
As I never did get to meet you in person, we shared a simple bond of love. Our boys brought us into each others life and I will never forget how excited Lane was to meet you. Brice talked about you often. When we lost Lane, you sent the most beautiful words of encouragement that reached my heart miles away. My prayers, tears and love are sent to your family at this time. Rest in Heaven amazing soul! The world was blessed to have you ❤️
Hugs and Prayers for Brice, Children and Family.
Lifting this family up in prayer during this time of loss. May God's comfort surround you, and may His love carry you through the days ahead. Trusting that we will see them again in glory. Love you all very much!
Praying so hard for yall! Sandy was definitely one of a kind! We love yall!
Sandy was so very special to all of us who knew her and loved her..I met her years ago when she first started working for my sister at CEMS…we spent numerous hours texting about Yellowstone and I have a drawer full of shirts she made for me!!! I know she loved with everything she had but was sassy as they come and would tell you without hesitation if she thought you were right or wrong and that is just one of the many reasons I love her like I do!!! Love, hugs and prayers to Misty and all of her family and friends!! She will be loved always and I will treasure our friendship for the rest of my days.❤️🫂🙏🏼
Praying for your family during this time! 😘
