Sammy Burns, Sr., 92, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, June 22, 2025. He was born November 5, 1932 in Ratio, Arkansas to Sam and Hattie (Towe) Burns.
Sammy was preceded in death by his sister, Inez; one grandchild and one great-great-grandchild. He spent his life loving his family, fishing, gardening and cooking every chance he got.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ruby Burns; his children, Mark, John and Sammy Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00am, followed by funeral services at 11:00am at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas on Monday, June 30, 2025.

had a lot of respect for this man-his honesty-sense of humor-i will miss going by to visit him and ruby. i have known him since i was knee high to him in the 70s. our family knew him very well-my dad and him were veterans. he is laid to rest at the arkansas national cemetary and at peace and feels no pain now. rip sam i will always remember you being at my baptism.
