Eddie Winter, 62, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1962 in Conway, AR, the son of Lewis and Freedia Winter. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Winter and one sister, Lisa Winter.
Eddie was a member of New Life Church in Conway and served on the security team. He was employed with Elliott Electric for 10 years and later served as a detention officer with the Faulkner County Detention Center. Eddie also served as a board member and several other roles with the Conway Jaycees.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Freedia Winter; brother, Mike Winter (Cyndi) of Conway; niece, Ali Joiner (Kevin) of Conway; two nephews, Adam Winter (Ashlyn) of Batesville and Zach Wyatt (Callie) of Fort Smith and numerous extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10am Friday, June 27th at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
Eddie was a super great guy and will be missed dearly. I consider myself lucky to have known and worked with him.

RIP my brother. Our friendship has been since high school and then I have had the privilege to work side by side with him here at the Faulkner County Detention Center. He always kept a smile on our faces with his quick witted humor. He was always ready to help out in anyway he could. He will be sorely missed by all of us in the FCSO family. My prayers are with his Family at this time of sorrow.

I served as vice president under Eddie when he was president of the Conway Jaycees. We had so many great times over the years and our friendship spanned over 30 years. Eddie was always such a great guy who was always willing to help anyone. He was good of the best guys I’ve known. He will be missed by many.
