of Mountain Home, AR
January 11, 1934 - June 19, 2025
Barbara J. Hagebock, age 91, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of dear friends.
Born on January 11, 1934, in Morris, Minnesota, Barbara was the cherished daughter of Malcolm and Evelyn (Horton) Jones. A woman of quiet strength and grace, Barbara lived a life marked by her resilience and love of God.
She married the love of her life, Paul Hagebock Sr., and together they brought 4 sons into the world that they loved and cherished with their whole hearts. Their names where Paul Jr. Hagebock, David Hagebock, Rusty Hagebock and Tom Hagebock. They were a family of service to our country. They all enjoyed boating on the lake and sports together. All their sons were very talented in working with their hands. They made furniture for their mother that she treasured and enjoyed her whole life. But God chose to call her husband and 4 sons back to Himself starting with Paul Sr. in 1996, and by 2001 Barbara had endured the tremendous loss of each of her 4 precious sons. Her Sweet Jesus caried her through all her heartache. And He alone was her Strength in this life until she took her last breath and reunited her with her family. Her life was a living testimony of her Faith in God. She was a constant inspiration to all who knew her. She was also proceeded in death by her three sisters: Dorothy, Marjorie, Joyce, and four brothers: Robert, Jack, Kenneth and Roger.
She leaves behind many close friends who became like family to her and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on July 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Baxter Memorial Gardens, with Reverend John Fleming officiating.
Though Barbara's earthly journey has ended, her legacy lives on in the strength she inspired, and the love of God that she shared with everyone she met.
So long for now Ms. Barbra, you were a fine lady! Doc Yoder
I am blessed to have had the opportunity to spend a little time this past year with Barabara. She and I both loved breakfasts, and were lucky to start each day with a good meal and good conversation with friends at Lake Forest. We will miss her strong, sweet spirit and seeing those blue eyes each morning.
