of Flippin, AR
May 25, 1941 - June 19, 2025
Sammy Lane Seawright, 84, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of June 19, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 25, 1941 in Flippin, Sammy was a lifelong resident of the town he cherished and a proud member of the Flippin Church of God.
Sammy was a man who believed in working hard and loving harder. For many years, he owned and operated "Flippin Auto Supply", where he poured his heart into serving his community and building lifelong friendships over the counter of his parts store. He was a high school graduate and a proud provider for his family - raising three wonderful children alongside his beloved wife, the late Sharon Kay Seawright.
A man of quiet strength and deep faith, Sammy found his greatest joy in his role as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He adored his grandchildren, David, Shane, Scotty, Rhonda and Kenny and his heart lit up even brighter with the arrival of his great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Isabelle, Madison, Sammy II, Hunter and Riley.
He is survived by his loving children, Brian Seawright, Mary Seawright and Lisa Best; his sister, Carolyn Treat and his treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sammy was preceded in death by his wife, Kay; his parents, Abner Minor and Josie Idella and his siblings, Jr., Tuffy, Wayne, Wanda Smith and Lola Grace.
Sammy's life was one of devotion - devotion to his family, his work, his church and his community. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his kind smile and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
A funeral service honoring Sammy's life will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, with a visitation at noon followed by a service at one in the afternoon at the Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel. All who knew and loved him are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, whose compassion and care brought peace to Sammy in his final days.
Services are in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Sammy was a true Icon in the automotive parts world in his hometown of Flippin. I had the privilege of doing business with him for over 50 years. As a kid at 11 years old that worked at the local automotive shops. I found great trust & friendship in him.
Whether it was 12 midnight on the eve of race day or someone just broken-down on the side of the road needing parts, Sam was always available to open up the store at any time to help.
Sam set the standard for Customer Service that we can all take note of.
He will be missed by all.
Sammy was a Great, Great man!!
Prayers & thoughts are with you Lisa & family.

He was the kindest & best man!!
