Sandra Sherrill

of Mountain Home, AR

September 23, 1946 - June 14, 2025

Mrs. Sandra ''Sandy'' June Fuller Sherrill, 78, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, was born on September 23, 1946, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to her loving parents, Herman and Gracie (Leotha) Fuller. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

In the summer of 1962, the Fuller family moved to Hardy, Arkansas. In 1964, the beautiful Sandy graduated from Hardy High School and soon married the handsome Robert Sherrill, Sr. Like her sisters and cousins, she spent a lot of time waitressing in the family restaurants, but her primary career was in the telephone industry (for a short time, she worked for Bell Telephone in Jonesboro before working for Century-Tel in Hardy). She held many positions at Century-Tel, and after 20 years of service, she retired.

Sandy made friends easily everywhere she went and left behind a large family and host of friends from Jonesboro, Hardy, St. Louis, and Mountain Home that will miss her greatly. Most importantly, she left an indelible mark on every life she touched, not just through her words or deeds, but through the warmth, kindness, and unwavering support she offered so freely.

Sandy is survived by two sons: Robert Harris (Bob) Sherrill, Jr. (Kimberley) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Thomas ''Tom'' Hardy Sherrill of Hardy, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Seth Sherrill (Blair) Sherrill, Jennifer Evans (Jimmy) Evans, all of Mountain Home, and Maggie Sherrill of Saint Louis, Missouri; three great-grandchildren: Jed Sherrill, Vivienne Sherrill, and Lainey Evans all of Mountain Home; three loving sisters: Hilda Jones of Batesville, Donna Bell (Gary) of Harrison, Linda Thomason of Cassville; brother Randy Fuller of Cassville; four cousin-sister: Sharon ''Tooter'' Johns, Wanda ''Wanny'' Wiles, Suzy ''Suzy Q'' Wells, Karen ''Kari-Bell'' Bagwell; dear friend (who she thought of as a sister): Carol Sutton, and numerous nieces and nephews and countless more cousins who all loved her greatly. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and older sister, Bonnie Jean.

Services will be private.

My Sweet Dearest Sandy,
Words cannot express the sadness in my heart when I heard of your passing. The memories in my heart of you during my childhood are some of my fondest memories from riding in your Orange VW when you would pick me up and take me home with you to Hardy, playing in Spring River, playing in the creek down below the house, to the lost tire rolling down the hill at the lil house on the hill, the endless nites i got to spend at your house staying up late watching movies and eating popcorn in your bed, making and eating some of the craziest meals, the late nite talks we would have about life in general, the life experiences your shared with me, but most of all making me feel like i was truly apart of the family and how lucky you were that i was apart of your life instead of me being the lucky one and loving me like you did. For these are just a few of the wonderful memories I have of you and you will forever be missed my Beautiful Sandy this is not Goodbye but see ya later. Love you Lisa
