Edith ''Edie'' Anne (French) Caswell, 71, of Summit, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in Flippin, Arkansas.
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 26, 1953 to the late Guy and Nell (Bergeron) French. She moved to Arkansas in 1990 and was Catholic in faith. She led a very simple life; nothing gave her more pleasure than spending time with her family. She shared a very special bond with her twin sister, Emily Roam, who preceded her in death in May of this year. They spent most of their life together and were each other's ''Sis and Pal''. She was a quiet soul, but she had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She showed kindness to everyone and lived her life to pay it forward to others.
Edie is survived by her son, Michael Alvarado (Fatima) of Texas; daughter, Jeanell Walser (Marcus) of Flippin, Arkansas; sister, Jean Gallo (Joe) of Slidell, Louisiana; grandchildren, Brock Vigna (Britney), Drew Vigna, Maylin Walser, Olivia, Angel, Luis, Gino and several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Joseph Gallo, Guy Gallo, Patrick Stall and Tracy Triche (Brad), who she had very special relationship with like that of a second daughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Emily Roam.
A memorial service will be held at Roller-Burns Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:00 pm with Clay Patterson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, Yellville Area Food Closet or by giving blood to the American Red Cross, as she was a recipient of many transfusions over the past several years.

So very sorry to hear of Edie passing. I worked with her for a lot of years..she was always a nice and kind person. May her family have peace and comfort at this difficult time.
