Several years ago during an election my cousin printed a sign and placed it in Mayors yard. It said "Mayor for Mayor."
Louis thought that was so funny as well as Clarkridge residents that drove by his house. He could always come up with something funny. There was only one Louis. He will never be replaced, He will forever be known as Mayor.
Barney I’m so very sorry to hear about Louis, your aunt Elaine and i were going to go see him, I can remember staying all night with Kathy one night and Louis kept hitting me on the hear with his dirty sock and was laughing so hard about that lol, He was a good friend with my two brothers Glen and Bruce Cockrum,RIP Louis, prayers for the family
Mayor was such a kind & ornery neighbor, always full of fun! I fondly smile when I think of him meeting me at the mailbox on the lawn mower to discuss the community news. Thank you for being a good grocery shopping buddy to my Daddy-RIP
Love Jeannie
Mayor, you were well known to all. RIP
The position, of Mayor of Clarkridge, likely will remain unfilled. Who could ever fill that honorary post as well as 'Mayor'; whose qualifications were- friendship, humility, humor, and love of his roots
