Michael Edward Garretson, age 73 of Conway, AR, passed away at home on May 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Garretson and Patsy Daniels as well as his brother Donnie Garretson.
Mike was a faithful member of Conway First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves, where he served for eight years during the Vietnam War. Mike, being the patriarch of his family, had an abundance of love for Jesus and his family. He loved Coke Cola, bananas and the Arkansas Razorbacks (when they were winning, of course).
He's survived by his wife, best friend and soulmate of 29 years Aprill Garretson. His children Cory Garretson (Hannah), Kaleigh Garretson, River Northern, Abby Lewis (Allie) and Tyler Garretson, sisters Cheri McNeely, Gloria Rogers (Rudy), and Kim O'Neal (Kendal), niece Stacy Hurst (Brent) who was more like a first born child and 10 grandchildren, a multitude of nieces, nephews and loved ones. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered for his brutally honest love.
A memorial service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 11:00am at the Conway First Baptist Church.

Daddy, you've been such a good boy to me and mama and the gang. Thank you for putting up with my little shenanigans and thank you for petting me and loving me and mama and our family. My paws only let me type quietly so no one can see or hear me signing the guestbook, but you sure have been here for mama, Tyler, Abby , and all of the other members of our wolf pack.
