Carolyn Teague Montgomery, 85, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

She was born January 7, 1940 in Truman, Arkansas to Albert and Christina (Deckelman) Teague.

Carolyn was an active member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving, kind woman and the best big sister. She was very family oriented and loved her family and especially her grandkids. Carolyn was a great cook who cooked everything from scratch. She cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the Teague family for many years.

Survivors include one son, Randal Montgomery of Grandview, Missouri; one brother, Albert Teague, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Kay Jenkerson of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Ashley Montgomery and Scott Montgomery; three great-grandchildren, Kamden, Karolina and Cruz and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frankie Montgomery; one brother, Bill Teague and three sisters, Lorene Landsdell, Gladys Hollihan and Evelyn Penter.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville at 11:00am with Bobby Sheppard officiating.

Carolyn will always hold a special place in my heart , many days when she was a patient she was really helping me as much as I was her . Such a joy to be around I will always remember the special memories. Rest easy and we will see you again in glory . Shane
