Jeremy Patton, 50, a man whose strength was forged through hardship and whose heart was defined by redemption, passed away on May 17, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love and loyalty. He was born on June 14, 1974 in Madison, Iowa.
Jeremy's life wasn't easy. He faced more than his fair share of struggles, but what set him apart was his decision to change for his son. That turning point revealed the truest parts of his character: a devoted father who put family first, a loyal friend who showed up when it mattered and a hardworking man who found purpose in providing for those he loved.
Known affectionately as ''The Meat Man'' to many, Jeremy took pride in his work, always ready with a joke, a helping hand or a story to tell. His laughter, sometimes loud and contagious, often echoed through the rooms of those lucky enough to know him.
Above all else, Jeremy was a dedicated dad. His greatest joy was being there for his son, proving day by day that it's never too late to become the person your child believes you to be.
He will be missed more than words can express but remembered every time someone shows up, stands tall and chooses love over the past.
Rest easy, Jeremy. You did good.
Jeremy is survived by his son, Michael Patton; brother, Josh Patton; sister, Amanda Cadwallader; as well as his brother, Steven Childers (Jess) and mom, Patricia Reinier (Fred).
