Barbara Burch, age 92, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Ciel of Fayetteville. She was born on January 1, 1933 to John David and Edith (Peaslee) Lehman. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frank J W Burch.

Barbara was a member of Sang Avenue Baptist Church and a prior long-time resident of Harrison, Arkansas where she was active in the First Baptist Church. She married Frank J. W. Burch on July 25, 1952 and they celebrated 58 years together. She loved hiking along the Buffalo River, camping and her church, especially the Bible studies she hosted once a month at her home for many years. She met and had many friends. She loved gardening and bird watching.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Burch of Fayetteville, Joe and Cindy Burch of Huntsville, Texas; grandsons, Colby of York, PA and Chris and Holly Long of Lakeway, Texas and great-grandson, Lennon of Lakeway, Texas.


Graveside service is 2:00pm Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Maplewood Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 19, 2025 at Sang Avenue Baptist Church.
