Joyce LaVerne Roller, age 95, of Little Rock passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at her home. She was born in Paron, Arkansas on February 10, 1930 to her late parents, Ocie J. James and Lois Irene Server. Joyce volunteered at St. Vincent's Infirmary where she served on the Auxiliary, also known as ''The Pink Ladies''. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ for more than 50 years and was a current member of Pinnacle Church of Christ. In addition, Joyce enjoyed shopping, reading her Bible and Christian stories and most of all, loved her family.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Harley E. Roller; two children, Robert Roller and Cathy Hogue; one grandson, Wesley Roller and one sister, Christine Halligan. She is survived by her brother, John Thomas James; four grandchildren, James Roller of Rudy, Arkansas, Natalia Mendez of Little Rock, Arkansas, Andy Roller of Morrilton, Arkansas and Harley Davis of Odessa, Texas and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will begin at 12:30pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Pinnacle Church of Christ with services following at 1:30pm with Chuck Monan officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
I am so sorry to learn of Lavern's passing. Love and prayers for the family.
Harley was my first cousin, and I always remember Lavern's smile and kind spirit.
