Stephen E. Minden, 39, of Farmington, Arkansas passed away May 7, 2025 at his residence.
Stephen was born December 10, 1985 in Tempe, Arizona to his parents, John E. Minden and Jo Dawn (Smith) Minden. He attended the University of Arkansas where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and worked as a Mechanical Engineer for APEI Extreme Environment Systems. Stephen loved music and could play a variety of instruments, he was the lead guitarist for the band DreamFast from 2004-2010. He also loved to cook a variety of different dishes but was well known for his sushi. He loved being with his family and friends just hanging out and being together.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl J. and Sandra L. (Rouw) Smith of Van Buren and his paternal grandfather, James A. Minden of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his parents, John E Minden and Jo Dawn (Smith) Minden of Magazine, Arkansas; his sister, Sara Minden of Bentonville, Arkansas; his paternal grandmother, Eva-Marie Minden of Fort Smith, Arkansas, one niece and one nephew; other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Cremation arrangements and memorial service are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Stephen's name to hungryformusic.org.

My husband and Stephen would talk about music whenever they would see each other. Always saying they would get together and play sometime. He was such a nice guy. He will be missed. God bless his family and friends.

I met Stephen through two different friend groups and got to know him in different ways through each. He was always incredibly kind to me, and I will forever be grateful that we had each other to lean on when we were both going through rough times a few years ago. I loved watching Stephen laugh, and he was responsible for making many other people laugh with him.
I am heartbroken that I will not be able to attend his memorial service, but I hope that his friends and family find some peace together on the 24th.
I will miss you, Stephen. You will always be a member of Dinosaur Summer.
