Elvis Taylor, 93, of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on January 28, 1932 in Boynton, OK to Carlton and Anna Bell Taylor.
Elvis proudly served in the Unites States Army and the National Guard. He worked for Riggs Tractor until his retirement. After his first retirement he went on to work for Enterprise Care and several local dealerships in the Jonesboro area delivering cars. Elvis was a member of The Pentecostals of Jonesboro and was a faithful man of God. He was a loving and caring man, always taking care of his family. Elvis was always ready to serve in his church. In his younger years he loved hunting and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Cory Taylor and brother, Junior Taylor.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 73 years, Beverly Taylor; sons, Larry (Linda) Taylor, Allen (Sue) Taylor; grandchildren, Christi (Rodney) Priest, Cody (Eden) Taylor, Chariti (Brent) Hartwick, Lance (Brittany) Taylor and twelve great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave., Jonesboro with Darrell Runyan officiating.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Beverly, Larry, Allen and Family, After reading the other post above and growing up around your family, there is no Doubt what a wonderful man Brother Taylor, Elvis, Allen's Dad. We had lots of names for him, will be missed. He always made me feel welcome in their home and always ask " How's Jim Doing today". Ours prayers are with you.

Mr. Elvis Taylor was truly a wonderful man. The world would be a better place if there were more men like him.
