My condolences go out to Mrs. Poag's family. She was my 3rd grade teacher at Keiser in 1979-80, and I've often thought of her over the past 45+ years. I used lessons learned at that young age in her class throughout my own teaching career and credit her with my ability to write neatly in cursive. She will be fondly remembered.

Dewayne and Bob, our family "grew up" with your family and we loved your mother so much. She was an important part of our early childhood. I know you will miss her, but dwell on all of the contributions she made to so many during her life. She and your dad are united again.

I am writing this for Shirley, Jim (Jimmy), and me. Your family has always been so important to all of us.
