Donna Ruth Elliott

of Conway, AR

March 15, 1938 - April 26, 2025

Donna Ruth Elliott was born March 15, 1938, in Arvin, California. She passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. She was born and raised in California and loved the beach. She was the youngest of six kids, which could account for her strong independence. She spoke fondly of her siblings, telling many stories of her memories with them. Most importantly, she accepted Christ as her Savior as an adult and prayed earnestly for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Homer Donaldson and Lucy Mirl Mathis, her siblings: Eugene ''Gene'' Donaldson, Robert ''Bobby'' Donaldson, Jenoice Manlove, Kathryn Ohlstrom, and Mary Donaldson, and her first child Rocky Johnston. Also preceding her in death were her first and second husbands, Eugene Johnston and Victor Elliott.
She was survived by her children, Ricky (Victoria) Johnston of Branson, MO; Samantha (Barry) Bryant of Evensville, TN: Eric Johnston of West Plains, MO; and Kim (Phillip) Gipson. She had a close relationship with her grandson, Joshua, and a wonderful bunch of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

While raising her children, she was always active and involved with them. Their memories include her playing softball, card games, and her favorite marble game, bump. Her grandchildren also recall a never-ending supply of cookies in the cookie jar, card games, bump, and video games played with her. She was a fun competitor. She loved her family fiercely. After Jesus, family, and friends, she loved her sweets, from chocolate bars to pumpkin pie with lots of whipped cream.

She was selfless, loving, and was highly loved and will be greatly missed.

A private service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hope Alive Ministries in Morrilton, AR. Hopealivearkansas.org

You were my favorite Auntie, even though I didn't see much of you, you were always in my my heart and thought of always. You were there with us when my father (your brother) was going through his trials and tribulations and I wish I could have been there through yours. The Lord knows what you meant to all of us, cause family was important to you. Now you and Dad and your other siblings will be all together again. Love your namesake Donna.
