Bobby was born in Blytheville, AR to Lillie Cassidy Clark and Lawrence Thomas Cassidy on September 11, 1955. He entered Eternal Rest on April 21, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

He was a communicant of St. Michael Catholic Church in West Memphis. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, and his stepfather, Bill Clark, two brothers, William and Larry Cassidy, three sisters, Carolyn Earwood, Judy Thomas (Jerry), and Karen Cassidy. He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of 45 years, and their son Matthew (Aaren), two wonderful grandchildren, Ava and Noah, whom he considered his angels. Bobby is also survived by his mother, three sisters, Sherry Rios, Cindy Dabbs (Charlie), and Sandy Ford (Derrick).

He was a former science teacher at Turrell High School, and manager of Fireworks City for over 40 years.

Bobby's legacy will be that he always loved and took care of all of his family. He was a well-respected and honorable friend to everyone that knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at River Valley Hospice, Comfort Keepers, and especially Mrs. Georgia Stone for her exceptional care for Bobby during the last months of his illness.

Bobby is one of those people that it was a true blessing to actually get the opportunity to meet. In all the years I have known Bobby, I never heard a negative remark about anyone, always optimistic, was always there if you needed help, dedicated to family and work, very intelligent & beat me at every sport. Our hearts and prayers go out to family and friends, he will truly be missed by all.
