Heartbreaking news. Deedra was so kind, and so thoughtful and precise, and a total professional. My condolences to her five children and her family, and to all her colleagues here and in Tempe, Houston, and beyond.

There is an article I just found about her from Katy Magazine Online (the system here does not allow URLs to be posted ) about when she and her family took in two couples and their five dogs (!) during hurricane Harvey.
