August 14, 1962 - March 31, 2025

Tammy Denise Lyons, age 62, of Gamaliel, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. She was born on August 14, 1962, near Phoenix, AZ and was adopted by her loving parents, Marshall N. Brown and Lorene Fink Brown, when she was 3 years old. Tammy grew up in Indianapolis, IN, where she graduated from Decatur High School.

A Veteran of the United States Navy, Tammy was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, a Navy Good Conduct Medal, and a Meritorious Unit Commendation. She was honorably discharged upon completion of her service aboard the USS McKee. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul D. Lyons; and stepson, Jeremiah Lyons.

Although Tammy suffered severe respiratory issues in her last year, she continued to enjoy reading, painting, listening to music, and scrolling through Facebook. Above all, she was a wonderful mother who cherished her children and grandchildren. Due to her failing health, she became a very private person, and she was secure in her salvation through Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her son, Ethan M. Lyons, daughter, Ashley L. Lyons, and 5 grandchildren, Madelynn, Elliot, Juniper, Robert Paul, Makina, and numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.

Though she is no longer with us, Tammy's love and caring presence will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date by her family.

Tammy, you were a dear sweet friend and we shared so many fun times growing up. I wished I would have known you were so sick. We had so much to catch up on since we last spoke. I am thankful you are no longer suffering. Rest in peace sweet friend… we will catch up on things when we meet again 💔
