In all of my 72 yrs., I never remember not knowing Wayne and Bettigene.
The Thomas’s and Peyton’s were always friends, and, we grew up going to Oak Grove Baptist Church. Bettigene was my Cub Scout leader.
Wayne came from a wonderful family, and he truly was a genuine man and friend to me.
To Bettigene, Waynette, Sue Ellen and Karla, we love y’all, and our prayers are with you all!

I remember Mr. Pelton from my childhood. He was such a good sport about his home being invaded by 10 giggling preteen girls.
We are keeping your family, and all who loved him, in our prayers for comfort.

I've never known a more gentle & loving soul than my cousin Wayne. I will miss his kind smile & his. Soothing voice. He was a a caring father & a doting husband. His wife & daughters were so lucky to have had the many years with him & I'm a better person for having known him. I pray that the Lord will bring peace to all that knew & loved Wayne. We all know that Heaven definitely gained a new angel when Wayne walked through those gates.
