Sharon Ann Calkin, 63, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1960, in Helena, AR to Leon and Jennie (Oliver) Kilpatrick. Sharon got her associate degree in special education. Sharon was a hardworking woman who worked different professions including substitute teaching and nursing as a CNA, but she was most proud of her job as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, writing, interior decorating, and designing.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jody McGill, a daughter Robyn Carlisle, and a brother Leon Clay Kilpatrick.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 26 years, William Calkin; sons Bill (Katina) Caldwell, and Michael (Felicia) Calkin; grandchildren Hunter (Jayme) Kennedy, Laynce Stroud, Harlow Mansfield, Garrett Caldwell, Madison Calkin, Skylar Calkin, and Avery Calkin; her first great-granddaughter on the way; nieces Candace (Brad) Harmon and Jennifer Kilpatrick; a nephew Mikell (Angel) Kilpatrick; a sister Nancy Young; a brother, Keven (Kristen) Kilpatrick; son in law Michael Mansfield; brother-in-law Billy Ransom; and many great nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 2:30 pm at Kellers Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will precede at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401 on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 1:00pm-2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made in Sharon's name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
