Mike Alan Miller

of Marion, AR

July 9, 1971 - April 4, 2024

Mike Miller sadly left us on April 4, 2024 at the age of 52. Mike is perfectly healed and in the arms of Jesus. Services will be held at First Marion in Marion, Arkansas. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 10th from 10am to 12pm. The funeral service will begin at 12pm. Graveside service will follow immediately at Crittenden Memorial Park. All friends and family are invited.

Mike graduated from Forrest City High School in 1989. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arkansas State University in 1994, where he met his wife of 25 years, April Reddick Miller. Mike and April married in 1998 and made their home in Marion, Arkansas. They have three beautiful girls, Emerson, age 20 and twins, Maggie and Chloe, age 16.

Mike was a proud member of First Marion and had a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Mike loved hunting, fishing, his many, many friends, a cold Dr. Pepper, a good Snapchat filter and asking his girls ''Have you told me how much you love me today?''. Mike loved sharing his testimony. He testified how the Lord prepared him and carried him through his illness for 22 years, from his friends to all the doctors and nurses who cared for him so well.

Mike is survived by his wife, April Miller and their three daughters, Emerson, Maggie and Chloe. He is also survived by his parents, Al and Alice Miller of Forrest City; sister, Alison (Mark) Pisahl of Memphis; twin brother, Mark (Christy) Miller of Marion and a host of close family and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow McDaniel of Paragould and Dr. and Mrs. W.I. Newsom of Marked Tree.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to First Marion Worship Ministry in memory of Mike Miller.

Pallbearers are Colby Ramsey, Edward Muir, MD, Lance Lovell, Mitchell Brown, Rich Trail and Rob Jones. Honorary Pallbearers are Stephen Threlkeld, MD and Imad Omer, MD

Life has taught me I am not always in control. Life is full of experiences, lessons,
heartbreak, and pain. But, it has also shown me love, beauty, possibility, and new beginnings.
Embrace it all. It makes us who we are, and after every storm comes a clear sky.

Mike was my first friend. I met him when I was 5 years old and he was 3. I was one of the very few that could tell mike apart from his brother! Mike always had a beautiful kindness and way about him that I will never forget!

April, I was saddened to hear about Mike. I remember when I first met him at First Marion and heard the story of his illness, hearing about the miracle of the birth of your 3 girls. His brother bought our daughter’s lot in Rivertrace to build and be close to y’all.
Always glad to see Facebook posts and hear about him still pushing forward after the stem cell transplant. We were glad to share what we knew of his story with our daughter-in-law whose brother-in-law had a similar surgery to give them hope.
Your daughter Emerson played softball against our granddaughter at Young Harris College in Georgia.
Through the years, we seemed to be reminded of your family. Mike’s was a life well lived. An inspiration to all. May God comfort your family as you put him to rest!
