Betty Marie Hackworth, 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on March 18, 2024 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Betty was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Roscoe and Antoinette Wainwright on August 2, 1938. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Betty married the love of her life, Herman, on July 25, 1969. She worked as a paralegal for over 25 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Harrison, Arkansas and former member of Grace Baptist Church in Gassville, Arkansas. Betty's life revolved around her church, kids and grandchild. She especially loved reading her Bible. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, making cards, gardening, canning and sewing. She absolutely loved the beach. She also enjoyed playing the piano and singing.
Betty is survived by her children, daughter, Angela (Vince) McCowan; son, Scott (Michel) Hackworth and daughter, Rhonda (Ricky) Roberts and one grandson, Chase Roberts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hackworth and parents.
