Betty Lou Blaylock, 77, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Betty was born Sunday, May 19, 1946 to the late Ernest Blaylock and Lillie Mae Mixon Blaylock in Helena, Arkansas.

Betty primarily worked as a homemaker, was a member of Lexa Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing BINGO and very much enjoyed playing board games with her sister.

Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Earnestine Johnston (James W. Sr.) of Locust Grove, Arkansas; Thelma Blaylock of Mississippi; several nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Juanita Cook, Marie Barker, Lillie Bivens.

A graveside service for Betty will be held 1PM Monday, March 4, 2024 at Central Cemetery in Lexa, Arkansas. Brother Fred Garrison will officiate.

Thelma, I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I remember the visits we would have at Barton Baptist Church. You and Betty will always be two sweet ladies in my mind that I enjoyed getting to know. Prayers for you and your family ,
