Timothy D. Summers

of North Little Rock, AR

May 1, 1961 - February 26, 2024

Timothy D. Summers, 62, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was born on May 1, 1961 in Little Rock to William and Kathleen Summers.

Tim grew up in North Little Rock and attended Kemper Military School in Missouri, where he played the game he loved, football. Tim was an excellent football player and had aspirations of becoming a Arkansas Razorback. After high school, Tim studied Engineering and Construction Management. He went on to complete the Apprenticeship Program for the Carpenters Union. The last 15 years prior to his retirement, he worked as a Construction Superintendent and when he wasn't working, he was either at the beach or in the mountains. His daughter recalls his love for motorcycles, having ridden on the back with him many times. However, everyone who knew Tim knew that his preferred method of transportation was a Chevy truck. Tim picked up guitar playing in his teens and enjoyed playing his acoustic often, especially with his cousins.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Summers Bell (David); grandchildren, Ami Bell and Scarlett Bell; stepson, Jason Gorecke (Amber); brother, William 'Billy' Summers; sister, Brenda Russell (Dennis); many nephews, nieces and cousins; extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathleen Summers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM.
