Mr. Clyde Anderson, 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 09, 2024 in Mountain Home. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Thomas and Alice Anderson. He was married to Alice Rector. He enjoyed designing, building, remodeling and generally using tools. He was a very compassionate person always willing to help someone in need.

Clyde lived a fulfilling life with many hats. He served for 4 years with the Marines as a supply sergeant, worked for Tran World Airlines for 18 years, was a school bus driver as well as a kitchen supervisor for the Mountain Home School District, worked at the Baxter Bulletin, provided sounded support for many local music productions and owned his own resort. He also a volunteer firefighter and volunteer at the Bull Shoals Theater.

Clyde is survived by his friend, Carlene Baker. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Services will be private.

Prayers to family and his friends especially Carlene. I got to know Clyde and other mutual friends thru the joy of music and fellowship of Bull Shoals Theatre and other places in Baxter and Marion Counties.

On Monday, March 4th during the Alley-White American Legion Post's Monthly Meeting, Member Clyde Anderson will be mentioned as entering "Post Everlasting".

Clyde was the best sound man at the Bull Shoals Theater, the Senior Ctrs in Flippin and Mountain Home etc. He made so many musicians happy!

Also, his kindness was apparent to all who knew him! I’ll miss Clyde a lot ;)
