Greg Duane Darr
Greg Darr, a United States Army veteran and heavy equipment mechanic, succumbed to a lengthy battle of COPD/emphysema on February 6, 2024 at the young age of 69. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Barnes; stepsons, David Smith and Joshua Smith; his grandchildren, Amber Poole, Abigail Poole and Aidan Paseur; his sister, Karen Garcia; brother, Gilbert Darr; also, his nieces, Sonya Darr Hawkesworth and Christina Darr and nephews, Pete Darr and Lucas Garcia.
Greg was preceded by his mother and his father, Finis Darr and Sue Neyman; his brothers, Finis Gordon Darr and Gary Darr and his beloved son, James Gregory Darr and granddaughter, Kayla Brown (James G. Darr).
Greg was a lifelong Arkansas Razorbacks fan and a devout Baptist Christian. He was a lover of classic rock and roll and billiards. Most of all, Greg loved his children and grandchildren fiercely. He will be profoundly missed and all memories we have with him will be deeply cherished.
Services for Mr. Darr will take place at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Memphis, AR on February 13, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM.
